Appropriate Solutions Foundation Board Members
Appropriate Solutions Foundation is governed by an Executive Board, comprising of 5 founder members, who are individuals of high repute, bringing in talent and expertise to shape programmes. The board chairperson is elected bi-annually on a rotation basis within the board membership.
The Board provides foresight, oversight, and insight. It is responsible for monitoring ASF’s financial activities and establishing internal controls to prevent loss, theft, or confusion, by formulating appropriate policies using current best practices.
ASF’s Board is responsible for making sure the organization meets its regulatory obligations and ensures ASF meets its goals and the expectations of donors, and beneficiaries.

On behalf Appropriate Solutions Foundation Board members, management and staff, I would like to thank all our development partners, donors, affiliates, communities, and allies in all sectors for the trust and support they have accorded us all the time.
I can assure you that Appropriate Solutions Foundation will continue to conduct its work upon a strong foundation of good governance, with a strong sense of responsibility to all our stakeholders in every sector, allowing ASF to grow steadily and surely while also caring for every aspect of our society, community and the environment, and creating sustainable solutions.

For ASF to sustain its innovative, flexible and responsive niche; we need to continually sharpen our capacity to analyseemerging trends and possible consequences, determine appropriate responses, and continually work to improve the quality of our work. In order to support our work, implement our strategy and respond to new challenges, we will need to develop a strong
and stable financial base.
We will work with our partners in pooling resources together, in an atmosphere of trust; respect and commitment to promote a true partnership for participatory progress. While Staff competencies will be periodically evaluated and skill gaps identified and a training plan prepared and appropriate funds raised to allow staff to undertake training, and be true to the task.
